Why did Jesus' shed his blood
on holy Calvary?
John 19:32-34: "SO THE
SOLDIERS WENT AND BROKE THE LEGS OF THE FIRST MAN AND THEN OF
THE OTHER MAN WHO HAD BEEN CRUCIFIED WITH JESUS. BUT
WHEN THEY CAME TO JESUS, THEY SAW THAT HE WAS ALREADY DEAD, SO
THEY DID NOT BREAK HIS LEGS. ONE OF THE SOLDIERS, HOWEVER,
PLUNGED HIS SPEAR INTO JESUS' SIDE , AND AT ONCE BLOOD AND
WATER POURED OUT."
What is the reason for this, an incident
happened in Southern Engand. One boy who was walking in
the woods, suddenly he saw some weak wild birds, he picked
them up and locked them up in a cage. He continued to
walk. On the way he spotted a Pastor. The pastor
asked the boy that; what he is going to do with those birds.
He replied; I will tear of their feathers, spit on them, make
them carry stones and beat them. The pastor said; give
them to me. The boy refused, the pastor said; what price
shall I give you. The boy replied; a bill of 5 pounds.
The pastor gave the bill and they exchanged their things, the
pastor with the birds and the boy with the bill. Next
day the pastor went into the church with the cage of birds.
The people asked him what's the need for the cage of birds.
The pastor told everything about the boy whom he spot in the
woods. After sharing that to the crowd. He said
this same thing happened to Jesus.
When Jesus was in heaven before his first
coming he was walking in heaven. The devil was outside, Jesus
went to the devil and asked; what are you going to do with my
children. The devil said; I will make them to repeat the
sin, make their mind to make bombs and harmful weapons and
many bad things, make them carry burdens etc...Jesus replied;
can you give them to me, I can pay any price for getting them.
The devil said; if you shed your blood to the last drop of
your blood and water I will give them back. Our
wonderful Jesus loved us so much that he came down from heaven
as man and shed his last drop of Blood and water.
As the Pastor gave a bill from his pocket
and gave it to the boy to purchase the birds, Jesus gave his
blood as the price to purchase and set us free from the evil
one because he loves us so much. By him we are free.
When he gave the price the devil was defeated and Jesus took
victory over Satan.
